Some couples meet at work. Others through friends. We met right before a worldwide shutdown - because, naturally, we have impeccable timing.

Between Tiger King marathons and texts like “want to go on a walk?”, we made it through the pandemic and eventually got to date like normal people. Fast forward through countless lake weekends, hikes at the Dunes, camping trips, vacations, and bike rides, we moved in together and figured out how to share a one-bedroom apartment.

By 2023, we were checking off even more bucket list adventures: Zion, the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and Florida. We bought our first home that year and have been in a never-ending loop of DIY projects and discovering just how many times two people can go to Menards in a weekend. In December, we added Moose, our golden retriever and best boy ever to the family.

Skipping ahead (don’t worry, 2024 was so great but the best part is coming up), the real magic happened on March 14, 2025. In the heart of Chicago, Ryan completely surprised Jordan with the sweetest proposal. After confirming multiple times that he was in fact serious, she said yes! We celebrated with a Gregory Alan Isakov concert, a surprise engagement party, and the start of all the wedding planning fun.

Now we’re heading to Mexico in April/May 2026 to say “I do” with sunshine, drinks, and the people we love most. Pack your bags - next stop: the best wedding ever!
